Here at Peter Hembrough Bows we are delighted to announce the arrival of an absolutely unique commisioned blond tortoiseshell and silver mounted bow by the flamboyant Emmanuel Carlier.

The bow weighs 60.8g and is loosely modelled on bows by the great Jacob Eury. The pernambuco is of the highest quality, it is similar to the wood used by Eugene Sartory cica. 1900.

From a playing point of view, as with all of this great makers bows it has fantastic stability thus making playing more straightforward. Balance is suberb and the bow elicits a beautiful tone similar to the bows of Eury and Persoit.

This bow comes with a certificate from the maker. Although this bow was commissioned by P. H. B. and is not for sale if you have an interest in commissioning a specific bow this can be arranged, please be aware that there is currently a two year waiting list for such bows.
