Eugene Sartory Ivory and Silver mounted circa 1905

Here is a wonderful early Sartory with its original Ivory and Silver fittings from the early twentieth century, some would say his best period of work.

After extensive use sadly the head was damaged so it has a spliced new head that is an exact replica of the original. The original wood runs to the head and is utterly secure. It helps as an Ivory mounted Sartory Cello bow from this period sold in New York for $97,000!

This bow comes with a certificate from the renown bow expert Michael Taylor. From a playing point of view it is immediately clear that this bow is both strong yet flexible imbued with that wonderful 'Sartory" feel that players all over the world yearn for.

A great opportunity to own a piece of bow making history on a budget.
