Vigneron pere is a strong favourite amongst fine players, his bows are extremely user friendly, many players are devoted to his output and he is to be respected.

Vigneron pere viewed a bow as a utilitarian tool for the musician, he is a tremendously gifted maker whose concept of bow model is unique. Having said that he did influence several around him, Lamy pere knew him well as did Sartory, whose chamfers give a nod to Vigneron.

It is rare to find a Vigneron pere in mint condition, this is because they are so user friendly violinist tend to settle on one and use it for their whole playing career!
